Stories of the Prophets for Children

This book includes a number of stories of the prophets, peace be upon them, presented in an easy and accessible style. We would like to point out the following:
1- We have included from the stories of the prophets, peace be upon them, what we saw as being within the reach of children, and we have avoided including some events that are not appropriate for the age group for which this book is directed.
2- We have narrated some events in general terms, based on the fact that educators are able to present events to children in a manner that is appropriate to their understanding, taking into account the individual differences between them.
3- To benefit from the book, we recommend reading one story every night before bed, then rereading the stories after a while, in order to consolidate the events of the stories and understand the values within them.
4- Children’s vocabulary can be developed by discussing words or sentences, clarifying meanings, and explaining synonyms or antonyms of words.
5- Developing various thinking skills, such as: observation, interpretation, analysis, comparison, inference, asking questions, summarizing, and other skills that educators notice while reading stories.
6- Because we wanted the book to help children start reading, we did the following:
A- Divide the text into short paragraphs.
B- Removing the diacritics from clear letters and words, while taking into account the diacritical marks, in order to give children the confidence to read fluently without fear of diacritics, and to be able to read the word simply by looking at it without having to spell it.
7- We referred to many old and modern sources and references, so that the information in the book is correct, relying on the intelligence of the educators, both male and female, in narrating the events and presenting information in a manner appropriate to the age group they are addressing.
8- Remember that reading with children regularly is one of the best ways to spend the best times with them and make them feel your love and closeness to them.
