1) Scope of policy and definitions
This policy applies to purchases made at Dar Al-Huda Publishing Store of paper and digital products, games, and educational materials.
Defective/Non-Conforming Product: The product arrives with a manufacturing defect, is damaged during shipping, or is different from the specifications/quantity/title shown on the product page or invoice, provided that the reason is not misuse.
Sound product: Conforms to the description and is free from defects upon receipt.
Digital product: A book/digital content that is made available electronically (download/access via account).
2) Replacement/return due to defect or non-conformity
Duration: Within 7 days from the date of receipt.
Cost: The store bears the shipping costs in cases of defect/non-conformity.
Options: (Replacement/Send Replacement) or (Refund) depending on the customer's preference and the availability of a replacement.

Send order number + clear photos/videos of the defect or non-conformity
The store issues a return/exchange policy.
The shipping representative picks up the product from the customer (or the return is done in person).
After verification, a replacement will be sent or a refund will be issued according to clause (6).
Note : If the damage is due to misuse or improper opening/operation that violates the product instructions, the store may refuse the order with an explanation of the reason.
3) Replacement/return of undamaged products (change of wish)
Duration: Within 7 days from the date of receipt of eligible products.
Conditions : The product must be in its original condition, unused, and with all its accessories and packaging (if available).
Cost : The customer bears the cost of shipping the return/exchange in cases of change of desire.
Products that are not eligible for return/exchange due to change of preference:
Digital products after they have been made available to the customer.
Products manufactured according to customer specifications.
If the store decides to offer additional flexibility for any exceptional case, this will be explicitly stated on the product page or with written approval from customer service.
4) Digital Products Policy (Digital Books)
After payment is completed and the digital product is made available to the customer, returns are not accepted.
Exception: If a technical malfunction is found to be preventing access to the content and the support team fails to resolve it within a reasonable time, a refund will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
5) Cancellation before and after shipment
The order can be cancelled before the bill of lading is issued/delivered to the shipping company (unless the order has already started to be executed).
After the bill of lading is issued or the shipment is handed over to the shipping company:
Cancellation is treated as a refund request, and actual shipping costs (one/return as applicable) and any non-refundable payment provider fees, if any, will be deducted.
The store credit option is available at the customer's discretion and is not mandatory.
6) Financial refund
After accepting the return request, receiving the product and verifying its condition, the product value will be refunded within 5 to 12 business days to the original payment method whenever possible, or via bank transfer when needed.
In case of change of request: Shipping fees are non-refundable (actual shipping costs, if calculated, will be deducted).
In cases of defect/non-conformity: the customer receives a full refund for the product, and the store bears the return shipping costs.
7) Failure to receive the shipment and its return to the store
If the customer does not respond to the shipping company or refuses to accept the shipment, resulting in its return, the store has the right to:
Reshipping again after the customer pays the new shipping cost, or
The order value will be refunded after deducting the actual shipping costs and any costs incurred by the store due to the shipment.
