The Island of Signs” is a new book of its kind in the Arab world and the first book in the “Island of Hymns” series.
This book explains the signs of intonation in a smooth and beautiful way using cartoon characters to make it easier for children to understand, memorize and apply them when reciting the Holy Quran.

Our dealings with this great book begins when we learn to recite it correctly, as the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, read it, and taught it to his honorable companions, then passed on from them to the followers and their followers until it reached us after hundreds of years, preserved from error by the grace of God Almighty.
This journey, the drawing of the Holy Qur’an went through several stages, until it reached its current form, where a number of signs were added to the drawing of its letters with the intention of directing the reader to the provisions of the correct recitation.
This development and these signs were the subject of the book Island of Signs, the first book of the Island of Tarteel series concerned with communicating the rules of intonation and recitation to children in an attractive and beautiful way.
In it, each of the tuning signs is identified by embodying it in a cartoon character that reflects its features and the way the letter is pronounced.
