I'm sending you these letters back to relive moments from the past, as I write to you from my clinic in the small village, while you read them in a distant city. I just want to say: I wish I had been to that match!
The story takes us to a simple village brimming with warmth and innocence, where Wissam, an eight-year-old boy, brings together the village's characters for a basketball game. With his simplicity and determination, he motivates everyone to participate in an exciting sports day, challenging the idea of a "new game" that was foreign to the villagers.
Through Wissam's letters to his brother, Hossam, we see his emotional intelligence and desire to make a positive difference. The text highlights how a child can inspire his community and leave a profound impact using simple ideas and a determined spirit.
