" Ayousha Series " is a collection of illustrated educational stories for children, offering diverse purposes and providing answers to many of their life questions. It also helps parents and teachers to familiarize children with natural phenomena and their surrounding environment from an early age, positively influencing their behavior day by day and year by year.

Produced by the Arab House for Sciences

Written by: Iman Fouad Al-Khatib

Illustrations by: Anfal Mahmoud Al-Abdullah.

The series includes five books:

- The first book , “Where is my Lord?”: Aisha is confused and searches for God in many places, asking her mother, “Mama, where is my Lord?” This is a question a child needs an honest and clear answer that they can understand. The mother remembered the Bedouin’s saying when he was asked: How did you come to know your Lord? He replied: A footprint indicates a journey, and camel dung indicates a camel. So, a sky with constellations, an earth with valleys, and seas with waves—do they not indicate the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing?

So how did the mother simplify this idea for Ayousha?

- The second book , "I Don't Like the Sun": Ayousha and her friend Maha listened to a discussion about the importance of the sun in our lives, but what good is the hot sun when Ayousha's elegant dress gets dirty more than once? Of course, Ayousha decided that she didn't like the sun...

Let's read the story to see, what if...?

- The third book , “I Don’t Want a Bicycle at All”: Sometimes fear makes us reject things we want, but we must grow up and learn new things to overcome the barrier of fear. And sometimes we know, deep down, that those around us love us, but we hesitate to express our fears.

Does Ayousha really not like having a new bicycle?

- The fourth book , "I Don't Want to Go to Bed Early": Summer vacation has begun, and Ayousha loves staying up late and watching her favorite programs. Did her mother forbid her and have a long discussion with her?

What happened when her mother left her "to her own devices"?

- The fifth book, “I Don’t Want to Clean My Room”: Ayousha decided that leaving things anywhere in her room was convenient for her… she would definitely find them when she needed them… and since no one shared the room with her, no one would be harmed…

Is this really what will comfort Ayousha?
